The participants were given a short introduction about the restrictions and a short briefing with mood boards.

The first workshop was developed in sprints:

1. Participants had 30 minutes to develop as many ideas as they wanted individually
2. Participants were then assigned into groups of five and shared their ideas
3. Each group developed one to two collective ideas
4. Tutors went around and gave feedback
5. Each group had 3 minutes to present their idea(s)
6. All participants voted for their favourite idea

The second workshop was developed in sprints. 
1. Participants were divided into groups of 2
2. Each group experimented with rope weaving techniques
3. Participants shared with the whole group their designs
4. All participants voted for their favourite idea, which was then translated into the final design.
